Sara is an illustrator, animator, creative coder, and educator based in Colorado. Depending on the day, Sara is either an animator who loves to write code or a programmer who loves to animate. Working primarily in advertising and entertainment, Sara’s projects typically involve combining 2D, 3D, and code to create unique experiences; often in new and exciting formats. Initially educated as an architect, Sara quickly found her way to new media back when Flash was still a thing. After 7 years working in the agency world, she made the move to freelance and hasn’t looked back. She has worked with many studios and agencies on some very exciting brands over the years including those of the Campari Group, Procter & Gamble, Disney, and Ubisoft. In addition to working with clients, Sara is a dedicated educator and content creator. She regularly writes articles, creates tutorials, teaches, and designs workshops on animation and creative coding. She periodically develops courses and curriculum for universities. No matter what, Sara always makes time for coffee.
