How many times do you scroll through your typeface drop-down menu? With the offer of subscription services, the task of choosing the right typeface is more daunting and time-consuming than ever. In this 1-day workshop, you will learn how to look at typefaces up close to analyze their details and why they matter, how to pick the best typeface for your project and how to pair it with others. You will have a better insight about language support, legibility studies, different kinds of typeface financing and logistics. All will be communicated through a series of small lectures and practical exercises. At the end of the day, you will be able to make a faster and more informed selection next time yet another client asks for a contemporary, friendly but edgy typeface.
