Experimental Type Sketching
with
James Edmondson
Through the magic of iteration, drawing, and a complete disregard for the amount of premium paper consumed, we’ll explore the wildest typographic attrocities your brain can conjure. In just six hours, we’ll take an absence of an idea and synthesize an entire type family expressed only in positive and negative space.
Amateurs, hobbyists, and seasoned professionals are welcome, as long as they have a deep love of type design, a warm heart for classroom camaraderie, and at least a passing interest in Vulfpeck’s discography.
The tools will be ordinary, the results—outrageous. The vibes will be unparalleled.
