Sat., Feb. 13 – Sun., Feb. 14, 2016
10:00AM – 5:00PM
location: Type Directors Club
In this two day intensive, students will learn about TypeCooker, a teaching tool invented by Erik van Blokland to demonstrate the many parameters related to type. TypeCooker also serves as a powerful creativity building technique that quickly forces participants to break free of comfortable drawing habits and tired genres. This course will cover helpful sketching techniques, core principles of type design, and a special emphasis on spacing.
